  Now and Again

I love you juicy-much
not a calico kind of affection,
not restrained, pinking roseblush
or sepia-shy like memories, images
of past and faded wanting.

I love you century-new
in this hotter time, ice-melting on
skin so smooth, so firm and definite
that like this passion overwhelming
us and it will never be old.
