  Woman Song, Moon Song

We know, sisters, the moon is perjury.
We are lied to
While taken in lust, repeatedly.

We half believe such myriad dreams--
Diamonds; dancing under warm lights,
Dazzled in lust.

We lie beneath the moon in wonder
And desperation. Our men,
(Our lusts)

Beside us, curves and planes outlined
In the warm, lying light through
Windows of lust.
